The phase 2 of Wall Project @ Lower Parel

Last Sunday was the phase 2 of the Wall Project. Fighting all my laziness and excuses I dragged myself to Lower Parel because I knew that its just a matter of getting there the rest of the day is gonna be fun and colorful :) Here are a few pictures from the Lower Parel Wall Project:







I think this time around Mumbaikars had a better idea about their artwork and also what to expect at the venue. So was the BMC better prepared. Water tubs were placed at different places. Paints and spray paints were provided along with brushes and old paint cans for mixing paint. I also felt that the graffiti this time was much better than the last time.

After a long days work

I think this photo sums up the life of 9-5 working class man in Mumbai city. At the end of the day people are so tired of the routine that catching a wink anywere is a bonus point. Notice the handsfree that is plugged to his ears, its very common sight in Mumbai lcoal trains where u see many people are either talking on the cell phone or listening to music on the radio.

Dash of color in my city

I love my city but there are somethings which I miss out on. One them is color.... Typically greenry can add lots of colors and make the city vibrant. But Mumbai being all urbanized and the real estate is more precious than gold there are not a lot of places to palnt tree (Thats sad...really). Nevertheless Mumbai needs color and The Wall Project is THE solution to add a dash of color.
